"I have been involved in the out of town retail market since 1974. I like to think that I have an encyclopaedic knowledge base and a very good memory but at certain times I need the support of the Trevor Wood Associates database which has no equal in terms of an information package to enable me to transact business both in an agency and professional capacity. The Trevor Wood Associates Database is often imitated but never surpassed."

Richard Ashworth, Ashworth Chartered Surveyors

At present, Trevor Wood Associates supply the following FOUR databases:

  • Leisure Database
  • Retail Parks and Warehouses Database
  • Retail Warehousing and Leisure Database
  • Shopping Centres and Factory Outlets Database

Each Trevor Wood Associates database is supplied to clients as a self-contained Microsoft Access database with numerous built-in reports and analyses using the free to download MS Access software. Information can also be shown in Excel datasheet view or on maps, allowing greater flexibility. For every scheme, information is shown for every field where data is currently available. This includes the scheme name, address, postcode, GIA, year open, planning consent, car parking spaces and tenants together with details of ownership, management and letting agents with contact names and more than 8,000 hyperlinks to consumer and property websites wherever relevant. Further  information is shown for every tenant, wherever available, identifying the trading company, address, telephone number, consumer website and retained agent(s). Each database is extracted from the main Trevor Wood Associates database of over 10,200 developments which is continuously updated by our staff with co-operation from our numerous clients and others in the retail and property industries. This database includes not only schemes currently trading, but also proposed schemes likely to open in the next four years.

The Leisure database includes all known Leisure Parks, Retail & Leisure Parks and most major Leisure Schemes (including many solus units) throughout the United Kingdom.

The Retail Parks and Warehouses database includes all known Retail Parks, Shopping Parks, Leisure Parks, Retail & Leisure Parks and Retail Warehousing developments (including solus units) throughout the United Kingdom.

The Retail Warehousing & Leisure database includes all of the above schemes and virtually every freestanding grocery superstore and grocery centre. Coverage rises to more than 8,000 schemes.

The Shopping Centres and Factory Outlets database includes all known Shopping Centres, Shopping Parks and Factory Outlets throughout the United Kingdom together with many smaller shopping parades and purpose-built developments as well as all of the above schemes. Coverage is currently in excess of 10,200 schemes.

Through continuous research the number of schemes increases each month, as new developments are included. Additional information for schemes is recorded as soon as possible after receipt. Further retrospective additions are also being made to include every known solus retail warehouse, grocery superstore and major leisure scheme. An updated version of the relevant database is supplied to clients by email at the beginning of every month.
